ASA 103, Coastal Cruising, Everyday lecture starts at 10 AM. After a brief lunch, we will practice sailing on the water until 6 PM. Be prepared to sail in the light rain, wear non-marking boat shoes, and have your choice of sun protection and drinking water. We strongly advise the use of sailing gloves. Students can take or not take the written test on the third day after lunch. It is a hundred-question multiple choice answers test needed for ASA 101 Certification. The instructor will assess and correct your skills as the course progresses. The instructor will sign your certification in your ASA logbook upon course completion. We will file all certifications with the ASA for final approval, and the ASA will mail your sticker according to your level of achievement (please allow time for processing). The $15.00 Test Fee and one-time $ 39.00 ASA Registration Fee - for non-ASA members only (to be paid at the end of the course) include complimentary 3-month ASA Membership.
